The IMTS show, ranked among the largest trade shows in the world, was a great success this year. It posted its strongest showing since the year 2000. Although it was 2 days shorter than the previous IMTS in 2006, it surpassed registration by far. The show had over 92,000 visitors from 119 countries during its 6 day period, with over 1800 companies exhibiting.
The increased attendance at this show clearly demonstrates that people are searching for improved operations and a variety of resources. The all new ISCAR booth was definitely a unique source for learning about innovation and productivity solutions geared for all major industries. The booth featured the relative theme brought to life each day through ISCAR Metals’ industry experts for Automotive, Aerospace, Power Generation, Medical Devices, Die and Mold and General Engineering applications.
The ISCAR booth was visited by thousands of visitors who enjoyed the hospitality which was extended on behalf of the ISCAR Metals team of dedicated employees. ISCAR’s booth was located in the new West Hall where all of the main carbide manufacturers were located. The architecture in this hall was much more appealing than its previous East Hall location. The high ceiling structures and strong lighting fixtures reflected amiability, which drew in many visitors.
ISCAR’s booth featured the SUMO TEC campaign, which highlights new innovative carbide grades and tool geometries. It was evident that exhibition guests search for ISCAR’s booth in order to learn about new technologies and products. Other than ISCAR's products, among the highlights of the booth was the trio of classical musicians who played electric violins. Their fantastic performance attracted many people to the ISCAR booth.
Judging from the many visitors in our booth, it was obvious that investing in the latest technology is the key to staying competitive. ISCAR’s new 3P SUMO TEC booth was another milestone for proving our commitment to achieving ongoing innovative metal cutting technologies.
